Agree that there is a preference for materials to be stocked at the site of the industrial process but it should be recognised that this is not always possible and there is scope for sensitively designed storage on site which can be progressively restored as the material is removed as has been designed in relation to the Phoenix Brick clay extraction at Foxlow Farm, Staveley.
