Andrew Barton - Peak District… The PDNPA would support the inclusion in the Minerals Core Strategy of a policy on Industrial Limestone. 02 Aug 2010 11:57
Andy Tickle - Friends of the P… we agree that a criteria based policy is most appropriate where the overall presumption is against further permissions save in exceptional circumstances where a supportable case is made for a particular sub-type/sub-use of mineral that meets appropriate local, regional or national needs. To ensure that the permission continues to supply such specialist needs alone, legal agreements on end use should accompany any such approval. 30 Jul 2010 11:25

Jenna Conway - Tarmac We feel that given the value, national importance and investment required in securing sites for industrial limestone there is an argument to be made with identifying site specific allocations for future industrial limestone sites. We support the reference within paragraph 7.23 and the support that Derbyshire will provide in ensuring with Nottinghamshire that all options are explored in terms of site specific provision for Whitwell Quarry. 02 Aug 2010 14:59
John Bradshaw - Tarmac a) Tarmac would agree with a criteria based policy which is based on allowing new permissions for industrial limestone only in exceptional circumstances, where there is a proven need for material of a particular specification which would otherwise not be met. 13 Aug 2010 14:46
Nigel Weedon - Longcliffe Quar… Confidential 14 Jun 2010 16:41
Phil Jones Redefine the term 'industrial limestone' so that it can be monitored and rare varieties conserved. Only grant permits for very narrow end use criteria. 16 May 2010 23:04
Planning - Cemex It is agreed that a criteria based policy for industrial limestone would be appropriate. The core strategy should not aim to resolve all concerns as certain matters should be addressed in detail at the application stage 02 Aug 2010 13:32
