Discussion forums let you discuss topics relevant to the consultation.

When you view a discussion forum, you see a list of the discussion topics and the most recent discussions are shown first. Important discussions can also be pinned to the top of the list. Clicking on an individual discussion shows all the messages in that discussion.

If you have permission to start a new discussion or reply to an existing discussion, the option will be shown.

Some consultations allow people to add discussion messages directly from email. In this case, then the consultation email address will be shown on the consultation homepage. Alternatively, you can just reply from your email client to a discussion message you receive.

If a message has been sent with one or more attachments then these can be accessed when viewing the message, if the settings for the consultation allow attachments.
